Rose Ducharme M.A., C.Psych. is the primary service provider with Kingsway Psychological & Behavioural Services. She is registered as a Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She has extensive experience in assessment and intervention of learning disabilities, attentional weaknesses and behavioural difficulties. She was a Psychoeducational Consultant with the Toronto French School where she worked with students, teachers and families. She has extensive experience with conducting psychoeducational assessments for school related difficulties, leading teacher professional development workshops on psychoeducational issues (e.g., learning disabilities, ADHD, study skills, self-esteem), and implementing academic recommendations and behavioural programs for students. She has designed and implemented bullying programs and student workshops on social/emotional concerns within school settings.
Joseph Ducharme PhD, C.Psych. is an associate professor in the Department of Applied Psychology and Human Development at the University of Toronto (Ontario Institute for Studies in Education). He has published extensively on the use of non-intrusive and developmentally sensitive approaches for the prevention and treatment of childhood behavioural difficulties. He currently focuses on training individuals in the use of mindfulness meditation, a research-supported approach for managing stress and promoting health and happiness.
